Cheers and congratulations to Endale Getaneh

Cheers and congratulations to Boschendal Getaneh, finally, after 5 years and 5 months have been granted a residence permit? In the process, I congratulate Norway; continue happily so - grant more political permits to Ethiopian refugees, and relation to the severity and consequences of it in relation to Ethiopia.

It sings Endalen Getaneh during last year's memorial ceremony in Oslo for the victims of the great massacre in Addis Ababa in 2005. A natural protest against the regime under TPLF and Meles Zenawi did not let the opposition, which was heavy with votes during elections, led to an enormous tragedy, that many of the asylum seekers from Ethiopia are highly influenced by. 193 people were killed, and around 20,000 were imprisoned and tortured. I have been told that the families of the victims were forced to pay the bullets that killed their lost close.

Dear Norway, please be humble, let more of those in need of protection have become. Keep in mind that many refugees have horrific stories behind them, which drives them to flee.

Refugee from Ethiopia sings in front of Parliament in Oslo

Endal Getaneh, a refugee from Ethiopia sings a hymn of hope in front of Parliament in Oslo.
Norway is the first and only European countries signed an agreement on the return of refugees to the authoritarian regime in Ethiopia. Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and several other human rights organizations in a strongly critical of the agreement.
Many of the Ethiopian refugees are actively politically in opposition to the Ethiopian regime. They fear for their lives, torture and imprisonment forcibly returned to Ethiopia
